The phone extension is now the 1st button. You can make a phone a call anytime without using the Office Main #.
The next 5 buttons are the Office Main Extension along with the 4 rollover office extensions (Main #2-5).
The programmable speed dial #s are buttons 8-10. Long Press the button and enter the phone #.
The 7th button is Consult Line in clinics, which is used by the Call Center to call your office.
Important things to know:
- By default, when you pick up the handset to initiate a call, you are using the phone's extension.
- Each phone has a specific extension and is designated for a specific location. Like workstations, phones are not interchangeable.
- Front Desk phones need to be in located in the front of the office.
- Doctors and Practice Manager phones have a specific extension.
- All other phones are considered Back Office.
- The Main Office # only rings on the Front Office phones.
- If you need to forward the Office Main extension, be sure to select the Main ##### button before forwarding the Office Main #. Click this link for instructions on Forwarding to another Extension
- Phone Displays reflect the Office name or the Corporate Individual name and extension.
